![]() ![]() After trying an endless combination of settings however, I still have major wireless issues including: Some of those settings include: Power Output, Power Save Mode, Minimum Power Consumption, Roam Decision, Roam Tendency, and Association Roam Preference. I have gone in to the advanced driver settings and tweaked a number of settings that at times appear to give me some positive results. Under Device Manager in Windows XP, it shows the device as simply a "Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter" (BCMWL5.SYS, driver date, driver version 4.170.25.12, which came from the Boot Camp drivers for XP version 2.1, which I installed already). Ever since setting up Boot Camp and installing Windows XP (SP3, and all available patches from Microsoft Update, along with the accompanying Boot Camp drivers for XP), I have had very spotty, unreliable, slow, and at times non-existent network connectivity through the wireless card. ![]() ![]() I purchased a 13" MacBook 2.4Ghz back in August at the beginning of my MBA program last fall. ![]()
